Art committed: denouncing physical and psychological violence.
An idea, a text, a quotation, a cause to defend remain the launching pad of my inspiration.
«I speak only with my gaze, my words have silence from my eyes» Sonia Lahsaini
Tabous, On-said, Unsaid, Censorship, Secrets, Forbidden, Racism, Intolerance, Abuse, Harassment, Violence, Race, Origins, Appearance, Gender, Gender, Discrimination, Rejection, Threats, Humiliation... So many words that work like a gag... Words tus... Motus!
Sail cover-ups or bandage to bandage pains/words?
This long strip wraps around the head and crushes the thought before choking the speech. We end up muzzled with these words (bad) that we could not say. Remains the look as the ultimate means of expression. A cold, extinct, even dead look that appears in a hole in this muzzle turban, a coffin-shaped breach... A symbol.
Under the back of this suffocating band of evils... A glimmer of hope... Freedom of thought, freedom of expression... marked black on white as an invitation to unfold the tape, to free speech.
You, us, you, me, her, him... Who hasn't ever been forced to silence words/bad words?
