A quote, words, games of words, a sentence with multiple senses playing on nuances that hold me at heart «Heart» Versus «Article»... A whole program. A quotation voluntarily left in English to appreciate all the subtleties...
Creativity Prize – Falaise Spring Fair – May 2021
«Understanding is an art, and not everyone is an Artist... your (he)art knowledge things that your mind can».
«ArtPrice» Versus «Heart Price»... It's up to you... The points of suspension take on all their meaning here, I voluntarily leave my prose in suspense to leave to the spectator to imagine a sequel...
This work is entirely made of words, «reading» is made in several journeys: the discovery of the sentence written in bulk, readable from afar, leaving to the viewer the care of grasping the meaning which can be double according to the reading «Heart» or «Article», then the discovery of all handwritten writings, visible closely, that structure the painting by giving it matter, relief. Man worked in acrylic and watercolorable pencil, dressed in newspaper papers, makes himself bear these words.
« Understanding is an art and not everyone is an artist! Your heart knows things that your mind can't explain. »
