It all starts with the search for quotations, words, thoughts that will be the basis of Val d'Off. Then a sketch is drawn on the canvas.
Newspapers, book papers, manuscript papers are torn and then glued, maroufled on a support, whether it is a canvas, cardboard or a recycled object.
Handwritten writings come in overprint of this patchwork of materials. Words sculpt the painting, reliefs form, shadows and lights appear, the painting takes shape.
