« Reborn » Could have been called « Words... fragments of Us ». This work alone brings together all the subtleties of my creative process where the word becomes plastic art by combining form and colour.

Through my work I offer a new facet of the Literature/Arts plastic joint by operating a fusion between words and images, which did not escape the Taylor Foundation which attributed to « Reborn » Taylor Prize at the Water Drawing & Painting Exhibition (Grand Palais Paris – February 2025)
My first momentum as an artist is a work of collage, patchwork of torn and muttered pieces of newspaper papers. These « fragments of reality » Ink more or less patinated by time are carefully chosen according to their typographic regularity and journalistic design, before being intertwined into each other in creative support. The words appear here in their symbolism in (not on) this background of printed papers. Then come the scriptures...
My artist's work is to write: j Handwritten capital writing brings a regular graphics that is expensive.
Whether the words are used to draw or in the background frame, I juggle with the typographical characters by mixing them with each other as one would mix colors, playing on the intensity of my writings, passing from the lightest shades to the darkest shades.
Writing and drawing here have mixed fates. Words are found at liberty, liberated from their meaning to exist only through their appearance. I create a link between imagination, art and writing, keeping only aesthetics, only the word in its symbol remains through drawing. We're all made of words, each one sticking to his state of being of the moment... to each « Reborn » of these pieces written.
